Kanchamba is a traditional Thakali finger food made with buckwheat from the Mustang valley — a specialty of our kitchen, served plain (200) or with chilly (220). Ghoken is a traditional Thakali buckwheat pancake served as an alternative to rice in the Thakali Thali. Both are authentic Mustang valley items rarely found elsewhere in Siliguri.

No. Mustang Thakali is a pure food restaurant. We serve hot beverages (tea, coffee), cold beverages (lassi, cold coffee), and mocktails (mojito, blue lagoon, and more).
Thakali food uses traditional mountain spices — timur (Szechuan pepper) and jimbu — which give a distinctive numbing warmth rather than chilli heat. Most dishes are mildly spiced. Let us know your preference and the kitchen will adjust.
