Our Story
Mustang Thakali is an authentic Thakali and Nepali cuisine restaurant in Siliguri, West Bengal, set inside Shree Bhawan Market on Hill Cart Road, directly opposite Hotel Bidhan Plaza.
We exist to deliver one thing well: real Thakali food, cooked the way the Thakali community of Nepal's Mustang region has cooked it for generations.
Our menu centres on the Thakali Thali — a full set meal of rice or traditional Dhido/Ghoken, dal, curry, achar, and seasonal vegetables — alongside hand-folded Momo, smoky Sukuti, tangy Choila, and the rare Mustang valley specialty Kanchamba. Every dish is built around traditional Thakali spicing: timur, jimbu, and gundruk.
